MAINTENANCE

Preventive maintenance is the best investment you can make to maximize your HVAC equipment’s performance and longevity.

This includes all Ductless System's we sell. 

Regular HVAC service for your systems lowers the risk of a disastrous breakdown, helps you avoid repairs, keeps your heating and cooling bills low, and improves the overall efficacy of your HVAC systems. 

Preventive maintenance on your HVAC system will not only ensure that the equipment is operating at maximum efficiency but it will also extend the life of that equipment. Government research shows that a regular tune-up of your heating and cooling system will save you money in the long run because of reduced energy costs. The high efficiency air conditioners on the market now can cut electric bills significantly but only if they are properly maintained.

This will include 2 Pre Season Check ups a year - once in the spring and the other in the fall  - 

When a trained service technician comes to your home to perform the maintenance check, they will do several things:

  • Check refrigerant levels and inspect for leaks

  • Adjust Operating Pressures

  • Check gas connections for leaks

  • Tighten all electrical connections

  • Test thermostat to make sure it’s cycling the system on and off properly

  • Check air filter - Clean or Replace

  • Clean Condensate Drains 

  • Measure for correct air flows

  • Clean evaporator coil if assessible 

  • Clean Condenser Coil

Most manufacturers of heating and cooling equipment require annual preventive maintenance on their equipment to maintain the warranty. Many contractors offer service contracts that will include a visit in the spring to tune up the air conditioning system and a visit in the fall to prepare the heating system for winter.

 

When you sign a maintenance agreement, you receive priority service and peace of mind that your system will work at optimal performance for whatever season we are in.
